Our Story
My passion for architecture started at a young age, having essentially grown up on building sites. I was always fascinated by the "big paper drawings of a house" and dreamed of the day I would be the one creating them. Life began for me in Cornwall, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and inspiring architecture. Landmark projects like the Eden Project by Grimshaw Architects and striking one-off residential designs—especially those carved into the rugged topography—always captured my imagination.
In 2019, I moved to London to pursue my dream of becoming a RIBA Chartered Architect. Since then, I’ve earned a BA (Hons) in Architecture from the University of East London, progressed onto the MArchD program at Oxford Brookes, and am now building T Yeoman Architecture with that goal firmly in sight.
The journey truly began in the summer of 2021 with our first project, Buny Whey—an extension to a listed barn conversion back home in Cornwall. Working closely with our clients, I translated their vision into reality. The experience filled me with even more determination to make architecture my everyday work.
Word spread, and before long, I was approached by our second client for a much larger scheme. The brief required a complete reimagination of the space, tackling numerous external constraints. Recognising the scale of the challenge, I needed a trusted collaborator—and that’s where Korell came in.
Korell and I met at university, where we spent three years exchanging ideas and pushing each other through the challenges of architecture school. There was no one I wanted to work alongside more. We instinctively knew how each other worked—when problems arose, we solved them.
Together, we delivered the Project Padel bid proposal in 2022. That project opened doors, solidifying our relationship with the client and leading to our next commission, which is now well underway. While Korell has since moved on to Glasgow School of Architecture to further his studies, our collaboration remains an integral part of T Yeoman Architecture’s journey.
Now, as I work towards my Part II qualification, I am fully focused on growing the practice. Experience is everything, and we continue to take on new projects while gaining invaluable knowledge through our work with external firms.
Behind the scenes, we have been steadily building momentum. As we step into 2025, T Yeoman Architecture is managing a project portfolio of approximately £3 million across the UK. Our small team of five continues to grow and take on new challenges month by month. We’re actively seeking new opportunities and are excited to develop more incredible relationships with future clients.
I hope this gives you a glimpse into what’s ahead. The best is yet to come.
