We are currently leading the planning and design delivery for a dedicated SEN Learning Centre in rural Cornwall, developed to support children with SEMH and complex needs through a calm, nature led and therapeutic learning environment.

Our involvement has covered early feasibility, option testing and stakeholder briefing through to the detailed planning submission, shaping a courtyard based layout with flexible teaching and therapy spaces, secure arrival, and purposeful outdoor provision including sensory gardens and 1 to 1 therapy pods. The scheme is designed to be low scale, inclusive, and highly responsive to its rural setting, with a sustainable materials and energy approach that supports long term operational comfort and wellbeing.

Following an extensive pre application process and a live application period, we are now in the final stages of determination and are awaiting a positive planning decision within the next month or so.
