We have been appointed to support the development of an innovative Agricultural Learning Centre set in the heart of rural Cornwall. Designed specifically for young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN), this project seeks to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that blends therapeutic support with hands-on learning in nature.
Our role involves developing the site’s strategic layout, preparing architectural concept designs, and leading the planning process. We have worked closely with the client to translate their vision into a spatial framework that integrates sustainable farming, outdoor education, and holistic wellbeing.
The centre will feature cabin classrooms, a central learning hub, animal care zones, forested areas, orchards, sensory gardens, and dedicated therapeutic spaces — all thoughtfully arranged to encourage exploration, growth, and connection with the natural world.
This project represents a forward-thinking approach to land use and inclusive education, and we’re proud to be helping bring it to life.
